Really nice clip! I wonder how many clips like this are still undiscovered.

Love it how he trows in "Dizzy Fingers" at 1:36 :D
Too bad the backing music is so loud!!

It is almost like Chet amuses himself while playing something like this....he once told me that he would prefer to play a song on the road for a year to let the song "evolve" cause I "never play the damn thing the same way twice"....he was such a treasure and many of us are so lucky to have known this amazing man.

On the "Live at the Bottom Line" DVD, Chet played "Cascade" at the end of the second show which was not taped. He got a request from the audience and initially declined because he said he had not payed it in a while...but looked over at Paul Yandell and said "What the Hell" and proceeded to just "nail it" to a crowd in absolute awe. As I looked over the crowd I saw nothing but dropped jaws in amazement, including Jerry Reed who was just shaking his head sitting next to Chet who stood and played it on his Gibson. I have never seen anything quite like that in a performance since.

The way he attacked this song on this piece reminded me of the way he played that night....

Amazing that he can rearrange the parts and improve a little and keep it all together! I wonder if the band just always knew once he hits the backwards rolls on the E.... then it was time to take it home and out? Fantastic.
