Someone showed that vid on here recently, Phil, but I'm glad you showed it again ... can't overdose on Tommy. I wish there was a video of him playing Take Five ... what an awesome job he does on it!

If I could convert VHS to DVD I personally recorded Tommy playing "Take Five" on his back yard swing in about 1988.
What about those Bransong videos by Bill Piburn? I know he plays it on there.

Cool. I'm glad you have it ... even if I never see it, I just feel better knowing that he was video'd when he was playing it.

I'm not familiar with the Bill's Bransong videos ... I tried googling, but nothing came up.

I do have a couple of DVD's of Tommy playing various songs, many of which are on youtube. I haven't watched them in over a year, because my Mac's DVD player croaked ... I have a player on my laptop, but seldom fire it up. Anyway, I'm petty sure that Take Five isn't on what I have.

Thank you very much, Andrew! That was fabulous. Turns out that I HAD seen this before ... I don't know how I could have forgotten that I had seen it. Senile I guess.

I've had a great life. Really, really blessed. I sure do wish I could have met Tommy, though. I could watch him pick all day. A true virtuoso.

Bruce, that video is taken from one of Bill Piburn's Bransong videos that I was mentioning. He told me that he recorded Tommy in a motel room.
