Here's my medley of three Beatles' tunes:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZQfE4F6nsI8
The middle tune is "All My Loving," but I cannot recall the names of the other two. If you'd like to chime in with their names, I'd appreciate it.
Those of you who closely watch right-hand techniques will quickly note that I am predominately using my middle and ring fingers instead of my index and middle fingers ... the reason for that is that I filed my index nail too short a few days ago, and it's got at least a week of growth to go before I'm comfortable with it. Since I won't have any interest in this medley by next week, I figured I'd do it with different fingers than normal. Besides, turned out to be good exercising for my ring finger, which is the weakest of my picking fingers.
Take care.

Hi Bruce,
I believe Jerry (Reed) used to play that way anyhow, using just his middle and ring finger... so you might want to stick with that method for a while...
In an interview once, he was asked about why he played that way and he said, "Well, that finger was 'closer' to the strings"!
I'm not sure I get the logic of that statement, but it sure seemed to work for him!

Enjoyed that medley Bruce. The titles are "Here There and Everywhere", "All My Loving" and "For No One" if I remember correctly. Thanks for the tunes!

David -- wouldn't matter if Jerry had just used his pinky ... he could have still picked better than me even if I used all of mine!
John -- glad you liked it, and thank you very much for the titles. I am carrying years and years of music in my head, most of it stored pretty faithfully there, but I've reached the age where the titles don't pull up when the tunes do. Thanks again.

Thank you very much Steve and Jack!
Jack, hard for me to not have some emotion when playing classic Beatles' tunes, as they were a huge influence on my playing, coming on the scene around the same time that I was learning to play.
Take care

Nice job, Bruce!
Those three songs really lend themselves to being played fingerstyle, and you did a fine job on them.
