Here's an old favorite of mine.
While the melody is not the most difficult to play, it exemplifies the tone, (which IS difficult to duplicate, if not impossible) and the perfect timing of "Mister Guitar"...

Anyone who wants to know who Chet was?, what did he sound like?, how did he play?, etc., JUST PLAY THEM THIS CUT. It has everything - the perfectly timed thumb, ingenious improvisation, impeccable phrasing, exquisite tone, outstanding harmonic substance, all joined together in an unbelievably perfect arrangement. And what a great ending - one note!
"So What's New" has always been one of my favorite recordings, too - 2:35 of Pure Chet Joy.

I played that one for my fellow airmen at Kotzebu AFB around 1970. They really enjoyed it and probably hadn't heard anything like it ever. Kotzebue is above the arctic circle. I was in the USAF at the time.
