This guitar is a pearl! I had a chance to play the guitar this summer while visiting Bill Piburn. I was in town to record a track with Martin Taylor for the Chet Tribute CD and spent time playing it. It is worth every penny, no greed...it is a early model and Chet used it for many years prior to giving it to Liz....This instrument is a part of history. Guitars deserve to be played, Liz does not play much anymore and can use the money.

If anything the high price assures that whoever acquires it is serious abut Chet and serious about the instrument. Either as a player or a museum piece.
