Thanks for posting this video. I recall hearing Chet play this tune I think with Arthur Fiedler and I always thought it would make a great solo. Here is my arrangement for solo guitar:

Guy Van Duser also has a nice arrangement on his 'Staying on the Atkins Diet' cd. He calls it "The Bridge Over The River Kwai". (The tile of the movie that used it as its theme song) .
