Hello everybody,
just found this clip of Pat Bergeson playing a tune titled "Petite Belle" on Chet's personal Gibson Super 4000 in a quartet setting at Nashville Jazz Workshop recently: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bHesmzqcpzE
Nice melodic playing, nice tone in my ears.
Can't understand the intro about the tune's origin at the beginning, though.
Enjoy -
Ingo
How Chet's own Gibson Super 4000 sounds today

This is really nice. Pat has always amazed me with his playing, and he has got the jazz chops going. I agree about the tone that guitar has in his hands. Chet knew what he was doing whenever he brought people like Jerry, Paul, and Pat into the picture. Nice listening while having my coffee this morning.
Parts of the song really remind me of Autumn Leaves.
Thanks for sharing, Ingo!!
