Long, long time since I've played, so I got a wild hair and decided to record one, just to keep from losing it all together.
I've practiced the past few days, but it's still got a lot of mistakes. I could blame it on my nasty cold, but when you don't pick for months, a few days of picking a bit doesn't bail you out.
This is just little bits and pieces of stuff. The lick from Woman Shy is one that Richard Smith showed me last year in a lesson. But I completely forgot it and had to spend time working it out again. I've probably not got it exactly right. But then I almost never get anything exactly right.
Someone could probably take my little mistake-laden arrangement of House In New Orleans and turn it into something good.
Sorry to have not been around much. At least this lets you know that I am not dead. Or that they have not yet buried me.
Here's the vid:

Hey Bruce,
Great to see you back in action. Your "mistake-laden" stuff is still better than most anything that I've got. You have a lot of licks going there, and I like that House of the Rising Sun arrangement.
Hope you're feeling better each day!
Bill B.

Hello Bruce,
I've been wondering where you were; I've missed your comments and your playing. You don't EVER have to apologize for anything you post on here, whether you're having a good day or a bad day you still have that good taste and great touch in your "Reed flavored" tunes! I think I speak for everybody on the CB when I say we are glad you're back - - you are a big asset to this forum...keep 'em coming!

I don't know how you do it Bruce. I'm sitting here watching your fingers go all over the place and I'm saying to myself, "How the heck can he remember all that stuff?"

Terry and Joey,
Thank you much fellers. Terry, I do seem to be blessed with a good memory. (I think. I can't remember for sure.)
Take care

Bruce, it was great to see you back playing. I enjoyed the video very much and I hope your cold gets better. It's a miserable feeling. Take care.

Good stuff Bruce! Enjoyed it as with all your postings. Sorry our infamous lunch didn't work out. Maybe next time I'm down your way.
