Eddie,

I think the person on stage in the 2nd pic is our founder Jim Ferron. I looked at my pics for 1986 but never found one of Jim. Looking at 1987 CAAS pics a shot of Jim shows him sporting a similar beard style.

I thought it might be him.
At one time I was trying to get the original pics that were in the oldest newsletters
and my wife and I were going to use the computer and put them in place in color.
Never could get it going. No one could tell me who had the pictures. We were going to do it for free
and give them to the Society to sell.

Hope that can get off the ground one day.

I think the guy to your right, left in the photo is Ted Walters. Ted was Chet's companion when he got sick. I believe he also worked polishing Chet's guitars for the "Me and my guitars book". Stan

No that is not Lee. Lee has darker hair.
