On oiling gears on the 5120

Thank you guys, for the suggestions on lubricating tuning machines. I will try 3-in-1 in 'sparing' amounts and 'monitor' the gears to make sure it isn't running all over that great finish they put on it. Vaseline also sounds like it might be a good alternative. It probably won't run - and cars function pretty well on axle grease! I have a Fender Thinline and it has sealed gears - they look to be nicely made - all chrome plated etc.
