C.G.P. award videos

Okay,,, help me out here. I was looking for all of the videos of Chet presenting his CGP awards. I've found these two so far:





Here's a photo and info from John Knowles website of his award:

Chet caught me off guard when he awarded me the first honorary CGP degree at the 1996 Chet Atkins Appreciation Society Convention in Nashville

Here's a quote from Steve Wariner's website:

1997 - Received official “c.g.p.” status from Chet Atkins,who surprised him with a plaque and special recognition

And this:

The abbreviation “c.g.p.” stands for “Certified Guitar Player,” a title that Chet
would bestow on a few guitar pickers that he knew. There were only four he officially
made c.g.p.’s: John Knowles, Jerry Reed, Tommy Emmanuel, and me. I am so honored
that Chet gave me that title!
I was thrilled when I learned I was nominated for a Grammy® in 1996 for my
work on No More Mister Nice Guy (which Chet played on). Then my elation went the
other way when I learned I would be up against my buddy Chet!
My wife and I went to New York to the show at Madison Square Garden, and
Chet won, of course. (He had left me a message on my answering machine saying, “I
voted for you to win; besides, I’ve already got 16 of ‘em,” then laughed.)
A week or so later, Chet called and insisted I come to one of his Monday shows
he was doing at Café Milano in downtown Nashville. I noticed a lot of cameras there that
night for some reason. He brought me up and not only “loaned” me one of his Grammy
Awards, but officially made me a c.g.p. with a beautiful plaque that I still have hanging in
my studio to this day! He was nothing but class.

I'm not sure if there is any video footage of John Knowles & Steve Wariner receiving their award or not. We need to at least find some info on Steve's award.

You may not find Paul's because it was a HOF doing and they tend to keep an iron lock on all of their presentations

I found a link to Paul's award ceremony and posted it in my original post. It wasn't on YouTube that I could find. The CMHOF has some offical video footage on YouTube, but not this one that I could find.

As far as the official "Chet-given, award-presented" CGP's go.....I have only seen video of two of the four.....Jerry and Tommy. I think I have seen a picture of Chet giving it to John, but can't find it. I'm not sure if video exists of John and Steve.

Of the others, there only exists video of Chet stating that Marcel was one, him kinda giving one to Liona Boyd, and there was a video of the Chet estate giving the official title to Paul at the CMHoF last year.
