With the release of Paul's new CD: My Time, I thought it would be nice to post a list of all of Paul's albums:

Paul Yandell - Down Through The Years (recorded 1979-1995. MPM, This was a cassette tape that I bought at CAAS several years ago. Micah Yandell had a table set up selling these if I remember right. I converted mine to CD.)

Paul Yandell - Going Home (1995. Rarefied Records)

Mel Bay Presents Paul Yandell Fingerstyle legacy (1996. Mel Bay There was also a Book & DVD.)

These are all I know about, if there are more please let me know. (Of course Paul played guitar on many albums of other artists, but I'm just looking for his personal albums.)

I have all of those except for the first one and the last one. I will purchase the last one at the convention when I am there on Thurs. I highly recommend Paul's recordings. My recommendation is not necessary, I know, because everyone here knows that Paul was one of the very best ever.

I got Paul's final cd: "My Time" in the mail yesterday. It's great as always. If you don't have it yet you all should order it! I thought his song: "Ms. Wanda", about his first guitar teacher, was very touching. Great music on this cd.

I must have listened to the new "My Time" CD at least 6 times on my trip home from CAAS. It is a wonderful and heartfelt CD, and I highly recommend it. Micah plays on there somewhere, but he wouldn't say where. It all sounds good, so he must have done a good job. Steve Wariner adds some nice licks to the CD as well. You've got to get this one, folks.

Likewise for me. I listened to my copy several times on the way home. Micah told me that the last song about Miss Wanda would get me, and it did. I almost had to pull over. Paul was such a dear friend to so many of us. I really miss him. I enjoyed the Thurs nite tribute. Craig Dobbins and Joe Hudson did a marvelous job in organizing everything. We only had Paul for such a short time, but he made better guitar players out of all of us.
