I went scouring through Chet video collection of tapes and dvd's and finally uncovered Chet and Dick Clark together.....thought you guys might wanna see this.

Thanks, Phil. I remember Chet doing this show with Dick Clark but I don't recall seeing it. Chet is so relaxed.

At the beginning of the clip, I noticed Chet had the thumb puppet I gave him. It's a green dragon with floppy arms. I found it at a grocery-store, check-out. I showed Chet how I would play for students and make the puppet peek over the fingerboard. He tried it out and said, "Thanks, John. I think I could use that." And he did.

I taped that show when it aired. Chet did play "Bigfoot" on the Super 4000 guitar. And John, he wore the the thumb puppet all the way through the tune.
