Nut not glued in on Gretsch Country Gentleman

Went to put new Gretsch Chet Atkins strings on the Country Gentleman G6122 and sure enough the nut was loose. I was like bummer lol So will get Certified Tech on that tomorrow. Thank goodness its an easy fix.

mine's not snug either. (1961 gent)
I just put a drop of white glue (NOT epoxy) in the slot and strung it up
