Manuscript overview
I haven’t formally separated The Manuscript into chapters yet. I use “Segue” as a quick toggling search tool.

But in any case, you can get an idea what I’m about here. Most of the sections use Paul’s quotes extensively. I’m getting some input from others (Keep them coming) and have several other headings I’m working on.
The “Digressions” are sort of descriptive off topic discussions that add meat and clarity to the project.

Sounds like an interesting read Norm! I think maybe the Music Man RD 50 amp deserves at least honorable mention since Paul and Chet used them as a road amp. I think they used the RD 50 on the road more than any other amp while Paul was with Chet. Seems like he said Chet liked it for his nylon string guitars better than any other amp.

Never fear...
The musicmans are not on the list but are well discussed in the actual manuscript. They were, as you point out, Chet and Paul's road amps of choice for much of their years together.

They were a really good amp. To bad the folded.

Would like to know (if you can remember the approximate year) what admission prices were to see your favorite country acts from the mid fifties onward. I know some of you saw the Chet/Boots/Floyd 'Festival of Music' for example.

Not asking for just Chet related shows. Any of the more memoralbe country players you might have seen... what was admission, who was on the bill and around what year was i?

Chet and Paul were at the Sundome in Sun City Az in 1996 - Tickets were $65.00 ea. 2001 - Tommy Emmanuel and Stephen Bennett at the Mesa AZ Performing Arts Center - my tickets were $55.00 each. Steve Wariner at the Mesa AZ Performing Arts Center in 2011 - Tickets were $65.00 ea.

Here's a scan of the newspaper ad and my ticket stub from one of Chet's concerts in 1979, Tulsa Oklahoma. It was the first time that I got to see Chet in person. Mom and Dad bought the good seats: Only $7.50!

Here's the only other time that I got to see Chet in Tulsa. The price went up to $15.25, of course there was a ticket office surcharge of $1.00 at that time which made the price $16.25 for the good seats:

At the Sundome - it was just Chet, Paul, and the band. He did two sets with an intermission in the middle. He also did some tunes where it was just him completely alone, as on Jam Man. It was before the album with Tommy E. He had said he was getting over a couple of colds but the show was excellent nonethless.
