I saw this guitar on ebay. All disclaimers apply I know nothing about nothing. This is an interesting guitar and I am sure Gretsch or Fender could of sold some of them.

I agree, that's an interesting guitar but to my eye it's neither fish nor fowl. Not massive (relatively) enough to give the sustain your solid body guitars are made to produce and the carved spruce top doesn't really have much of a resonating chamber to work with. The Gibson L- series and the D'Angelicos and such used the arch top with the violin in mind and the violin family requires a porportional resonating chamber.
The guy must be on drugs to be asking 20 K for this gem.

Definitely a "Gretschey"/6120ish looking Fender Telecaster! But remember, these two DID eventually marry!

That is one beautiful guitar. Even if I were wealthy and a collector, that price would have to come waaaaayyyy down.
