Archtop Question

I was just looking at the Epiphone Joe Pass models on eBay, and the most expensive ones there are around $600. The Epiphone Emperor Regent goes for about $700. The Washburn archtops may also be worth looking at. There's a J600 model that seems to be priced at around $699. And even Gretsch sells their Synchromatic model for around $750.

Seems like you have a lot of choices for under $1000, and some of the previous mentioned ones may be better than these. Those Strombergs and Eastmans look real nice.

I kinda like those Loyd Loar guitars they are selling. They look a lot like L7s and L10s. I think they are Chinese origen but they sure look well made. Al
