I was checking out Ebay to see what was on sale and ran across this offer. It's got some differences from a normal CG of that time. I wonder if it is Jerry's. It doesn't have the back pad and the access panel on the back. The panel is on the front between the pickups. It looks like the one on the album cover. I just found it interesting and thought y'all might, too.

Re: Jerry Reed's Country Gentleman on sale on Ebay?
It does look like the same guitar in the photo on the album cover; however, there should be a 'paper trail' back to Jerry's estate to confirm the authenticity. Perhaps that is the 'documentation' referred to in the eBay posting. Jerry's wife Priscilla, who performed with him, would know for sure I would think.

If it is the same one I saw at the Charlotte Guitar Show in 2010 he has the papers. He had purchased it thru an auction.

Yeah hopefully Jerry's Baldwin won't end up on ebay.
Paul Yandell brought it over to the convention and let Phil Hunt
and play it. It was wild playing Jerry's Breakdown on the guitar
it was composed on!!!!!

It's a rare one . . . Painted F-holes, NO Mute(s) or pad . . .
Looks like 3 frets were cut off the shelf of the fingerboard to move that pick-up as well . . .

Jerry's grandson put that guitar up for sale about a year ago on eBay. I don't remember what it sold for.
Thanks,
George

It sold for around $3100, George. I monitored the price because I was half-way thinking about getting it. Looks like the new owner is looking for a tidy profit.
