Chet to be honored this Wednesday with unveiling of statue in Nashville

Nashville, TN

On Wednesday January 12th at 10AM, a sculpture of Chet will be unveiled in downtown Nashville at the Bank of America Plaza.

According to sources in Nashville, Bank of America has commissioned artist Russell Faxon to create the unique life-sized sculpture, which depicts Chet on a stool playing his Gibson Guitar. Next to Chet is an empty stool for visitors to use so that they can sit and "play guitar with Chet." We will be adding photos of the ceremony and of the sculpture to the website next week.

Governor Don Sundquist and a host of luminaries from the music industry will be present to honor Chet for his lifetime of contributions. Congratulations Chet for this well-deserved honor!
