Different vibrola Chet used

Anyone remember the Floyd Rose type vibrola Chet used on his Gibson CG.
I think when it was on his first Gibson CG.

Yes, I remember that. Chet did put one on his first Gibson Country Gentleman for a very short time. He removed it and put a plate over it to cover the hole that it made in top of the guitar. He also had what looked to be EMG humbucker pickups in that guitar for a short time too. I think Chet was wanting to get a more modern sound, but he didn't end up liking it. The Floyd Rose was more of a dive bomb sound instead of the pretty Bigsby vibrola sound.

If you're talking about the vib on his DeAngelico, it was a Rickenbacker (Kaufmann) Vibrola . . .

Thanks for posting that photo Eddie! That sure is a cute little Chet Atkins handle on that Floyd Rose vibrola! You could always tell if it was a guitar that Chet used by the handle on the vibrola. If it was a stock Bigsby with the flat handle, you knew he was just posing for a photo. I hadn't noticed that mini Chet Atkins handle on his Floyd Rose before, or maybe I never saw a photo of it.
