I may be wrong but I think "If I Promise" was tuned down half step and capoed on the 5th, played in the A minor position. That's the only way I can get that Clawin' thing going on in that tune.

I've had another listen and you might be right. The Dm key seems the obvious choice but there is a slide in the penultimate bar where one of the 2 notes played seems to ring on suggesting it is an open string and putting in Am makes it possible.
