Craig, my most important (and probably my "signature") aspect of music is the harmony. You've done some nice original things with your versions of the tunes you demonstrated. I was quite surprised with how you started out "Rocky Top" and now "A Taste of Honey" also had a very nice intro. I'm very impressed also that you are so young and thinking like this.

Thanks a lot, guys! I'm proud y'all enjoyed them!
And thanks, Rande! I've gotten really into Lenny Breau the past couple of years and his harmony (IMO) was unparalelled. So I'm honored to hear that you recognized a little bit of that in my music.

You're welcome, Craig! Many people have listened to Lenny and were impressed with his harmonies and chord structures but rarely did anyone figure them out just through listening. If you found these by ear, then you are to be commended. If you're like me you have no formal idea of what you're doing but you can "feel" when it sounds right. If you do have more of a formal background, then I also commend you for knowing how to categorize everything. Either way requires a LOT of work. I also admire your slender fingers and they way your hands move. Have a great weekend!

Nice job, Craig! I wish I could have played like that when I was your age. In fact, I wish I could play like that now.
