The Chetboard

This video was taken during the last CAAS. Tommy Emmanuel is on stage with Frank Vignola and talks about Chet's song Gallopin' on the Guitar. Frank probably never heard it, let alone played it, so Tommy starts showing the basic chords of the song. It's just jaw-dropping how fast Frank picks it up. It puts a smile on my face every time.

That's just excellent!! And to think that Chet was blowing people away with songs like that so early in his amazing career. Frank sure seemed to enjoy playing it.
