Wow...that's a video of Tommy I've never seen before!
This was recorded about the time I first heard of Tommy from a picking buddy of mine in Denver. He had gone on vacation down to Florida and told me I wouldn't believe this kid he had heard down there!
I'm not sure, but it looks like Tommy is using a straight pick here...of course this tune is mostly single note picking anyhow. Boy, this would have been about 45-48 years ago...time moves on!
