Off Topic - Bobby Neal with Rick Nelson

This is the man that really made me want to learn to play the guitar. He lived across the street from me for a short time in Northeast Arkansas when I was 10 years old. I never really wanted to do anything else but learn to play a guitar since having him for a neighbor. I've sat in his living room and listened to him play before. He played with a regional act when he lived across the street but ended up working for Rick Nelson sometime after he moved away. Unfortunately he was on Rick Nelson's plane when it caught fire.
By the way, the band was not free basing cocaine as the media reported. After doing some googling,my theory is someone started that rumor to cover their own butt. That plane was app. 40 years old and probably not safe to be in the air and the pilot was probably in over his head going straight from flying lear jets to a DC 3. I think Rick Nelson and his people knew that too. The FAA didn't buy the theory that free basing cocaine had anything to do with the fire once they had a chance to investigate.
I know this is all off topic but I hope some of you will enjoy Bobby's playing. I know I was impressed with what I heard in this clip even though he's in a supporting role. What a tone and what a nice touch!
