I can't begin to tell you how great of a guy John McClellan is. He traveled a long way to get to us and had to get back home quick before a bad snow storm hit but all worked out ok. We learned so much from John that I'm going to get it all together and present the summerization of it all with some videos and pics. I will also list all the tunes that he played.

I did my best to video all that I could. My wife was recording and using my phone (which takes pretty awesome videos for a phone - Galaxy s2). I thought I was prepared but after just under an hour or so my wife hands me the phone and tells me that the memory is full (while John was playing). I wanted to get on with things and not interrupt John so I very quickly just deleted the files and gave it back to my wife. Right after I hit the delete button and handed the phone back to my wife I said to myself, 'Did I just delete every single file? Even the ones she just did of John playing those awesome tunes?' Sure enough that's what I did. I had to purchase a $50 piece of software just so I could undelete and get back those files. I got them back but that's not all. About an hour before we quit so did my phones battery and I forgot to take my power cord...man! Oh well, I got most of the meeting and ya'll will see it.

And, that was his warm up tune. John plays the Chet style more nearly perfect than anyone I know. Add to that the fact that he is a natural born teacher and you have an unbeatable combination. We were privileged to get to spend the day with John. I hope he got back home in time to beat the storm.
