Did y'all catch the hammer-on tapping that Chet did?
I guess that was around the time that Eddie Van Halen was making a living off of a similar lick.

Posted: Tue Feb 19, 2013 9:52 amThat is one of my all time favorites of Chet and Paul together. That little transitional thing they did in harmony just blows me away every time I hear it. Terry McMillan was a great showman as well as a great musician. Chet kinda got two for the price of one with Terry. The harmonica and the congo drums, as well as showmanship.
Chet always said that Paul could play anything he could - in harmony, and that pretty well proves it. Great performance.
