I heard Paul once say that Rick was the only one at CAAS that he would pay to see perform.
If I'm not mistaken I believe Rick uses a Boss RC-20XL looper. I have one and absolutely love it. It stores about 10 songs that you can make backgrounds to and then click then pedal when you need it to start.

I know that I heard Paul say on more than one occasion how much he enjoyed playing with Rick. Every time I heard them play together, it was a great time for listening to some great music.
