Beat Mood Indigo into submission and posted some of my watercolors... I had to keep the paintings "demure" due to YouTube frowning on disrobed young lasses

Something for everybody...

Norm,
Your talents are many-fold! I took two years of art in high school and 4 years of piano lessons. Today, I can't even draw a line with a pencil and a straight edge, and my piano playing abilities show no signs of lessons! You amaze me sir! You must make a nice living with the artwork, or at least get a lot of enjoyment from producing it. The music was touching, and very appropriate to the show here. Thanks for posting.

Wow. Thanks!
Sold a few pieces of art but there is so much real talent out there that there was no hope of me making a living at it.
I was offended at the way a certain artist painted women and I thought I could do better.
I always liked the affection Vargas painted with so I taught myself from scratch. Got to be too expensive and my overall income just couldn't support making a pile of paintings no one wanted to buy. But they are pretty and this gave me an opportunity to show two obstacles overcome. Painting pretty women and making Mood Indigo interesting for three minutes.
I appreciate the opportunity this site gives me to show this...

Norm, I'll have to say that I too am very impressed! I KNEW that you paintings reminded me of someone and when you mentioned Vargas, that was it! They have his same feeling. The supportive background music is also very nice.
thanks!
