A tune I wrote a couple of nights ago while I was feeling very thankful for all I have. I named the tune accordingly ("Thankful"). I was just going to post it for my Facebook friends, but figured a few of you might like it too.

I hope you enjoy it.
Re: "Thankful"
That was nice, Bruce. I can see it all fitting within the title you gave it. Thanks.

Re: "Thankful"
Bruce, you're simply very inventive. I have to write out stuff like that before I can get my stubborn hands to do it, and even then, it is analogous to pushing an open box of smoke up hill in a heavy wind. Counterpoint has always been one of my many weaknesses, along with scales, and a few dozen other things, but I can see it is not one of yours! I enjoyed it, sir!

Hello Bruce,
I'd like to send you a private reply to your post but don't know how to. I'd like to know your secret to being thankful. Thanks.

Bruce,
That is very good! You have a lot of Chet's touch and sound on that arrangement similar to songs on his "Almost Alone" CD. Nice bass runs along with the melody.
Thanks for sharing it.

Rich, Mark, Ray, and Ronnie: thank you very much guys. I am immensely pleased that you liked this tune.
Rich -- unfortunately my "standard state" is more about complaining than it is about being thankful. Every once in a while, though, I "wake up" and see how foolish my normal attitude is.
Mark -- I love your playing, man. You are a huge inspiration, and I much admire how you have mastered so many styles, including Lenny's. Keep on picking, brother!
Again, thank you all, very much.
