It Don't Work That Way
I just finished a Skype lesson with Richard Smith, in which he taught me A Little Bit of Blues, and thought that, since I already had the amp out, I might as well record a tune:

This is an old, old Jerry Reed song, which I am doing by memory, since I haven't heard it in about 40 years (and don't even have it anymore). It's called Real Love, It Don't Work That Way. I add a little custom front end to it, but other than that, I *think* I'm faithful to the tune (as I remember it).
Back to my time with Richard today: there are a lot of subtle nuances that Richard adds into Little Bit of Blues ... it was great to learn these. (Of course I really need to practice them before I can say that I've really learned them.) Lots of good fundamental Jerry stuff that can be used in other tunes. Bottom line: I really encourage to schedule a Skype session with Richard.
