Thanks much, Phil. I was inspired on the walks by the early 1980's recording of Mr. Sandman by Emmylou Harris, Linda Ronstadt, and Dolly Parton (on Emmylou's Portraits CD). Toward the end, they have an upright bass in the background that sounds like it is doing "forever walk" -- it just keeps on going. That's a great recording ... great backup music and perfect harmony from three of the best female vocalists ever.
