For Paul Yandell
Dear Paul,
I've written a couple of tunes for you before, but have never been happy with them. So, since you have been on my mind so much, I thought about doing another, but instead had the idea of dedicating to you the first YouTube I ever made:

This is of the tune Windy and Warm, the first song I ever learned to play. I learned to play it because you and Chet and my Dad and Jerry inspired me to want to learn to pick just like y'all. Your Louvin Brothers gospel music was so fabulous that I thought Chet was playing for them.
Please forgive that the tune has a huge error in it. Other than that, it seems so fitting to dedicate it to you. You were one of my earliest influences and heroes, and of course you still are.
Your creativity and innovation showed up at an early age, even while you were playing for the Louvin Brothers, and I am convinced that you probably showed Chet and Jerry as many licks as they showed you.
All my best wishes for you Paul.
Bruce
P.S. Fellow ChetBoard'ers: if any of you have a tune you'd like to dedicate to Paul, please feel free to add it on to this thread (unless you prefer a separate thread).
