I don't ever remember this being uploaded to UTube before; it's certainly not in my collection of videos. This brought a tear to my eye. Recorded at the 1999 CAAS event.

I had very mixed feelings watching that video. Emotional... yes... it was wonderful to see Chet's love for his fans even at this stage of his illness. Since I never met Chet, I can only imagine just how difficult it would have been for his personal friends to watch.
Does anyone know if this was Chet's last appearance at CAAS?

My memory of what I thought was Chet's last performance at CAAS was in 1999 when Jerry introduced him and Tommy E. came out on stage to "rescue him" during a moment when he seemed disoriented. After that I didn't go back until 2008. From what I've heard, I don't think Chet performed in 2000.

I noticed right away that it looked like there was a price tag on that guitar, like on Minnie's hat.
