Chet and Nato playing "Blue Angel"

I overheard Paul McGill at one of the CAAS Conventions saying that he threw a birthday party for Nato one time and invited Chet to it. He didn't really expect Chet to come but Chet and Leona were the first to show up. They were arrived so early Paul didn't quiet have everything set up yet and didn't have enough ice. Chet overheard them say they didn't have enough ice and volunteered to go get some. Here's Mr.Guitar, Mr. Nashville, arguably the greatest guitar player ever and arguably the greatest producer ever volunteering to go pick up a bag of ice just like any of the rest of us. ( and obviously not fashionably late since he was the first to show up.)

Chet and Leona were leaving to get more ice and Chet stuck his head back in the door at the last minute and said "How do you get that ice?" Evidently he had played the guitar all over the world,discovered and produced some of the biggest stars and hits but had never bought a bag of ice.

I can see Paul and Susan both in the video so I wonder if that video was shot at Nato's birthday party. I would think that's one of Paul's resonators that Chet's playing.

I don't believe that's Bresh in the doorway but he does look familiar. I just can't place him.

Bill, I also didn't think that was Thom in the doorway, but when looking at the video from 3:35 to 5:15, I changed my mind. The hair and the profile sure look like him. Younger for sure, but this video was shot in the 90s, so that was a long time ago! Perhaps Thom will comment on it.

That's the Breshman for sure. Just look at his videos from the early 90's, that's definitely him.
