Yes, I think he did have to cut some wood out for that middle pickup if I remember right. I will be disassembling it again soon just so I can document it for everyone. I'll email you photos and info too.

Chuck can you tell me what pickups and how many Paul used.
Also the neck width.
I have a T-60 and have been itching to build a Peaver.

I just wanted to correct my answer to the neck width question on Chet's Peaver guitar. I got my steel rule out today to start taking some measurements and I found that I told you wrong. I didn't think that neck was that wide. It's only 1 11/16". I measured it with my carpenters tape the other day and I must have read it wrong.
