Jason is a phenomenal talent, IMHO. Bunches of piano players play a style similar to Floyd's, but Jason seems to get all of the little intricacies in there just the way his GrandDaddy did. I have an early CD, which is a tribute to Floyd, wherein he plays many of Floyd's hits, and it seems to me that he nails every one of them just perfectly. I am glad to see him paying tribute to his GrandDaddy, and hopefully that will be a launching pad for his own career and style.

What's ironic to me is that some of us have probably spent more time in the same room with Floyd Cramer than his own grandson has. For me it began nearly 43 years ago. The very first time I ever saw Chet in concert was also the same night I saw Floyd........1969.
