I put together some photos I made at the 10th CAAS Anniversary Convention. You may recognize some of them. There are several who have passed on but memories of them still linger.

That brings back memories. I have to admit it was more fun then.
Less people and more goodies to buy back then. The room set up with: Kirk, Gibson, bill
Hollenbeck, Ray Butts was fun to play in. I miss ol' Ray...he sure was a character.
I remember one time this guy came up to Ray and asked him how much he would charge
to build a 7 string pickup and Ray said "$500" ( or something like that)...and then the guy
said.."to hell with that!" Then Ray came back and said, "Well to hell with making it!!"
haaaaa....what a hoot. Ray was a one of a kind and a genius to boot.

Phil, that may have been the year that I met you and Eddie. I remember you playing "Knee Action" for me and Eddie and I playing in the hotel lobby for a little crowd for about half an hour. Eddie, you were the one who inspired me to learn "Young Thing". My sister and her husband from Chattanooga walked in unexpectedly and listened to us.
