Thanks for posting I really really enjoyed the music. Three guys all born before us baby boomers who came of age and entertained us and our parents. Jerry Reed was just so original. He didn't burn the fretboard up but always played just fast enough on single note runs which didn't seem to come out of scales but just out of his head. And his chords were and are breathtaking to hear. Glen Campbell complements him with his high tenor voice and great single string flat picking technique. They were a pair. Tom Jones young and at his very best. I always enjoyed him on shows and recordings.

The ones I originally uploaded on youtube weren't very good copies. I have since gotten better copies, probably the same ones that are uploaded on youtube by these guys. The Tom Jones show with Glen and Jerry was a UK dvd that was put out in PAL format titled "This is Tom Jones" Vol.3 The Jerry Reed Episodes (October 30 and November 20, 1970) it was Produced by Bloon Moon Productions. I purchased it from a guy in the UK who sent me a NTSC USA format dvd.
What's really interesting is that some of the harder stuff to find, is found from guys overseas. Sad to say though we probably will never see the Glen Campbell Goodtime Hour complete series of shows on dvd until poor ol' Glen passes away. It's Really sad to see him him suffer from alzheimers right now.
That video of Jerry "You took all the Ramblin Out of Me" took me by surprise!! And just when I thought I had all of em'....Son!

Thanks for posting the video's Hendrik. It's great to see Jerry and that outstanding group of stars and musicians doing some of the old tunes again.

I just want to mention something that's happening in our television market now; Casey's General Store and E-surance (I don't represent either company) have fingerpicking for their background music during some commercial spots, and I think that's really nice. It's a welcome break from some of the other music types that had been used before now, at least in this area. Thanks again, Jim
