Thanks Eddie- you're right you can't go wrong playing and listening to Chet atkins . I also love to listen to Django Reinhardt and strum some of those nice gypsy jazz chords and arpeggios! Hopefully I can come over to America sometime soon and see where it all kicked off !! - James

Thanks everyone for the encouraging comments . It is a shame that there aren't more young people into finger picking and Chet Atkins style playing . It is probably less of a sorry state in America but over in the UK a hell of a lot of folks give you a blank stare even '' guitarists '' when you say Chet Atkins.
