I was thinking of Chet and John Denver and the song Back Home Again came to mind. A great song. What I did is over 3 minutes. It's hard to keep it interesting.
Thanks for listening.

Re: Back Home Again
Nice job Gary ...........
Two questions,
Nice warm sound, you're playing a Gretsch guitar?
Did you do the backtrack section?
Ciao.
PAOLO.

Re: Back Home Again
Hi Paolo,
Thank you. I used my GRETSCH 6122-1959 like the one you used in trambone. The one I have is the Nashville Classic issued before they could use Chet's name on it. A great guitar as you know.
I made the backing track using Band in a Box (BIAB) and just used BIAB guitar and drums. I imported the BIAB tracks into Audacity and then recorded my guitar with Audacity. I recorded my guitar direct.
Thanks for listening.

Nice job Gary. Great tone. Great playing and imagination.
Recorded direct? Really sounds good. I am going to experiment with this, up until now always recording with a mic through my deluxe reverb. But this sounds great. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you Art. I've given up going direct for a while.
