yes, i bought a new guitar.
But I swear this time it's different, in the sense that I really fell in love with this instrument,
it's a Taylor from 2001 artist series Doyle Dykes (DDSM).
Aesthetically exaggerated, but what strikes me most is its sound and ease of playing it.
I love this guitar and I'm sure it will become my first acoustic
I'm also really happy because I asked (by mail) Doyle himself how best to adjust the preamp in this guitar (Baggs deluxe) and Doyle promptly answered me!!!

The back and sides are really striking - is that maple?

I recently acquired a Taylor Leo Kottke signature 12-string, and it's an amazing guitar.

Looking forward to hearing what you record with this one.

Back and side are made of beautiful quilted maple!!!

I think it's one of the first models produced, it's from 2001.
Then the following models had the bottom in flamed maple.

yes soon I hope to make a next Christmas song,
maybe a cover also in honor of the great Doyle Dykes.
