There might be an 801CP popping up on ebay soon. Ron Wise (Buster's buddy) has one he wants to sell. The only downfall of the guitar is that it has a woodburned design on the top of the guitar of a log cabin and mountains. It has the preamp and battery box together inside of the guitar. Sam K. sent me an email about it.

Hey Phil!

I was good to see you and Eddie again at the convention. I wonder why Sam never showed up?

Sam is a very busy guy, he called me a couple of times while I was at the convention. I was telling him about the new Barbero pickup Kirk was using now.

I hope that Sam is busy with more of what everyone knows him for. I'm guessing that he would have sold more of those Prismatones at the convention.

Phil, time went by so fast and everyone was so busy there that you and I never got to sit down and pick. I learned a lot by watching but I also had my own share of things that the few people who heard them seemed to be interested in. I picked with Audie Wykle for a while and that was fun. If I could get myself recorded somehow, I think that people in this forum might like some of it, based upon all of the other uploads that I've seen.

Hi Dow,
It is a 1967. I got it from the west coast. It sounds and plays very nice.
