I am wondering duirng the late sixities Chet rewired his CG and there was a switch where the Master volume usually is. Does anyone know what kind of switch that was? He also had the regular pickup switch and the tone switch still in tact. He also had a switch in the same place on his sealed top 6120. What for?

on the gent the pickup selector got moved to the cutaway and he had (at least for a while) individual tone switches for each pickup. Ray Butts no doubt did the tech work and just what capacitance was in the tone switches will never be known.
The CGP is wired the same way the red sealed top 6120 was
