Serial Numbers to Gibson CE

The year is the 1st and 5th number of the serial number. If the guitar is one of the early ones from the custom shop the actual serial number is inside the edge of the electronics cavity. (The headstock serial numbers start with a letter on the early CE/CEC's from the custom shop, look inside the electronics cavity on the back for the actual serial number. It will be along the edge of the cavity where the plastic plate screws on).
