JBL D130 AS
Posted: Sun Mar 03, 2013 8:46 pmFor anyone who has researched the JBL D series speakers, what does the model number 'D130 AS' designate?
I researched these speakers a few years ago when I bought one to put in my Peavey Delta Blues amp. There wasn't anything definitive, but best guess was the A was an 8 ohm speaker with a different dome material and possibly different coil material (copper vs. aluminum) and the S may have indicated it was a speaker sold to Sunn as OEM, much as F was for those sold to be installed in Fender amps.
All speculation.
