Using Audacity to learn Chet's songs

I just discovered that you can use the Audacity program to slow recordings down without changing the pitch! Many of you probably already knew about this, but for those of you who didn't: Audacity is a free program and you can import your song that you are trying to learn. Then highlight the song, go to the Effect tab, choose Change Tempo, In the Percent Change put something like -50.

The latest version of Windows Media Player will also reduce it at pitch to 50%.
Right click on the WMP screen
Enhancements
Play Speed Settings
Appears to only work with WMV files, though.

You're right about Audacity, Chuck. I assumed that I was the last to find that out so I didn't mention it. I've used that a quite a few songs, both on the guitar and on the piano. Then I convert the WAV files into MP3 files and play them in my car to learn them.
