Chet's Rarest Record

For those of you who may be interested there's a 78 rpm
copy of Guitar Blues/Brown Eyes Crying In The Rain on
Ebay. It's under the listing below.

Chester Atkins Bullet 617 Guitar Blues His First 78

Oddly, Bullet Records also released B.B. King's first
recording also. A couple of years ago it brought over
$1500.00 on Ebay.

This one seems reasonable but it may be because of
the grade.

I've seen Chet's Bullet 78 more times than I've seen Chet's SESAC LP. I wouldn't say the 78RPM Bullet is the rarest.

I completely agree The Sesac records “The Best Chet Yet “ and The Amazing Chet Atkins (with the Anita Kerr Singers ) are much harder to find. I’m lucky to have the Bullet and The Amazing Chet Atkins records but, I’m still searching for the Best Chet Yet. I also believe String Dustin’ may be harder to find.

There are many scarce Chet LP's:

• The Amazing Chet Atkins (with the Anita Kerr Singers)
• The Best Chet Yet (with the Anita Kerr Singers)
• String Dustin' (10 inch, with the Country All-Stars)
• After the Riot (with the Nashville All-Stars)
• Jazz from the Hills (with the Country All-Stars)
• And Then Came...Chet Atkins (Live, French import)
• Discover Japan (Japanese import)
• Chet All the Way (French import)
• The Golden Guitar of Chet Atkins
• Solid Gold Guitar
• Country Gems
• Guitar Pickin' Man
• Pickin' the Hits
• The Romantic Guitar
• Masters of the Guitar (Chester and Lester + Guitar Monsters)
• A Man and His Guitar (German import)

These are not all unfindable, but they do not appear often, sometimes never. Some are not originals but compilation albums, but for the real nut that doesn't matter, we want them all! There are also different (foreign) pressings with different covers, like "Mister Guitar", "Picks on the Beatles", "Hum & Strum Along with Chet Atkins" etc.
