Martin 0018C ?

vacation last week - we came upon an interesting guitar
in Matt Umanovs shop in Bleecker st. It was a Martin 0018c
- 1963. I'm a lefty so I let my son try it & he thought it was a
superb guitar. But it was priced at $2450. Do any Fretboarders play one?
On a separate note - guitars have really gone up in price since my last visit
there in 1991 when I bought a Gibson 335s (solidbody) Lefty for $580 in
48th St Guitars which , unfortunately is not there anymore.
