6 weeks ago - i cut the top of the big finger of my fretting hand on a lawnmower.
I got the final bandage off yesterday but the tip of the finger is still very tender.
I have to catch up on missed practise time - are there any finger protectors that
I can buy online as I have suffered enough pain there recently to do me for a long time to come.

John, there is a product called "New Skin Liquid Bandage" that might help you. As the name implies, it is liquid in form and you just paint it on like a nail polish, it then dries quickly and provides a protective covering for the cut. It is made especially for hard to cover places and it allows the injury to heal faster. I have used this at times with some success. Its not perfect, but much better than trying to keep a bandage on a finger that you use all the time.
Hope this helps!
